What it is
The Forge Agency builds AI automation and search visibility for small and mid-sized businesses. Our deepest work is in construction and building products — metal buildings, self-storage, general contractors — and the same problem shows up in a law office, a CPA firm, or a brokerage. A master spreadsheet only one person understands. A CRM nobody loves. The same numbers typed three times.
Every engagement starts with how the business actually runs today. The first deliverable is usually a window into data the company already has, on the tools it already pays for. Search visibility — the traditional kind and what AI assistants say when someone asks who to call — comes after the operations work, because it only pays off for a business that can handle the calls.
Why it exists
I started with the businesses closest to me. Every one of them ran on a spreadsheet that worked — right up until it was the only thing holding the company together and only one person could read it. Their instinct was right: the sheet was the truth. What they were missing was a way for the rest of the team to see it without asking.
So the rule is: no new system of record. Read from what exists. Change nothing the owner relies on. Ship in days, then measure.
